ABOUT
Abbey Jackson is an Australian writer living in the bustling city of Tokyo, Japan. A passionate preschool teacher by day and an avid writer in her spare time, Abbey enjoys slipping away into the worlds of fantasy-be it gothic buildings, enchanted forests, dark Victorian streets, or rolling meadows.
As an over-imaginative child, and for as long as she can remember, she has taken inspiration from the nature around her and crafted them into stories. Abbey excelled in English at school and often won awards for the subject.
She wrote short stories and poetry inspired by the likes of J.R.R Tolkien in her teenage years. And now, having gained life experience living in a different culture, is working on her debut fantasy novel.
As a proud INFP, when not teaching little ones or working on her debut, Abbey enjoys cozying up to good book, painting, cooking vegetarian food, learning Japanese language and culture, walking through forests, horse riding, and binging Netflix/YouTube/podcasts.
